Wheel Guards

Seeing how easy it was to lose your wheels at Marin Ant Wars and seeing that “Unblinking Eye” was also entered at Sabots, we felt we needed to do something. So we decided to go with the narrow wheels and “weld” in wheel guards. Here’s the pics:

It wasn’t the most perfect of installations. The angle was “welded” to the flat iron and the flat was “shoe-goo’d” to the side of the bot. Not pretty but good enough for a first attempt.

The Smackdown in Sactown III - 2007

Was a lot of fun. Big Screens - big crowds. Front kick did O.K. (2-2) and the welding held up fine. Unfortunately the shoo-goo didn’t. Comme ci, Comme ca.
