Kick-me Kate’s design was inspired by Robotdojo’s build “lesson” for their MW Champion Full Frontal Fulcrum. We wanted to start small so 12 lbs. all aluminium bot was decided as a good starting point, i.e. small enough to be carried around easily - no hand cart required.

RobotDojo, at the same time were building their 12lber Flying W - our designs ended up quite similiar.

We both used the “hack a Harbor Freight cordless drill” technique.
