Kick-me Kate Ver 2
We started with some 1 3/4” square tubing and cut off one edge. Fits perfectly the larger Banebots 36mm gearrmotors
Two side by side and the basic drivetrain is beginning to take shape - typical “Team Kick-me” construction.
My machine shop friends took pity on me and drilled the holes this time. Much better than my usual template - hit & hope - file to fit method.
Look familiar? It’s going to be a big brother (similar construction) to the new Kick Stop (the one resting on top)
Since we decided to retire the original Kick-me Kate into a hockey bot, a new beginning was in order for Version 2. It is going to be lower profiled, more powerful, and with better electronics, i.e. all the good stuff.
