Robolympics 2006 was a lot of fun. Lots of good people, lots of good fights, lots to see. Lots of News Stations Video Crews and Photographers Team Kick-me did alright but not great. We brought the new Kick-me Kate which had issues but we were in git-er-done mode and that’s what you get. We moved up the winners bracket to get knocked out twice. This was the best and hardest hitting competition we’ve ever seen - great stuff. All of KMK’s pieces are still intact so rebuilds/refinements are imminent. It’ll only be better/stronger/faster next time. The insects fared similar fates moving up to get knocked out. Side Kick lost it’s blade/weapon after repeated hits/fights. Left to lowly copal drive it was done for in the tournament. Front Kick lost a wheel (that I should’ve tightened/checked - Doh!) for it’s final loss. Toe Poke’s lifter still wasn’t up to snuff and finally got ripped off to get knocked out of the tournament. The frame/drive is still great - however. It’ll be back, with a few modifications, of course.
